Troubleshooting go links issues

Although we try our best to make go links as seamless as possible, you may run into issues.

What do I do if go links keep taking me to search results?

Browsers need to be "taught" that og links are URLs and not search engine queries. Otherwise, typing go/[keyword] just takes you to a Google search for [keyword] instead of redirecting you to the correct URL. Trotto's browser extension automatically teaches the browser to treat go links as URLs but you may find occasional errors. If you run into this issue, type http://go into your address bar or click here. This will add a go URL to your browsing history and go links will correctly redirect.

How do I edit go links?

If you are the creator of the go link, you can edit the destination of the go link at any time. This is a great benefit of go links; you can keep using the original go/[keyword] but update the destination of the go link without needing to update your documentation. If you want to edit go links that you do not own, you'll need to upgrade to a paid plan. In the paid plans, you can assign users to be admins and admins can edit any go link in your organization.

How do I delete a go link?

Similar to editing a go link, the owner of a go link can delete it. Admins can also delete go links as well.
